Dakar 2026

The Youth Olympic Games come home to Africa

For the first time in history, an Olympic event is hosted on African soil: the Youth Olympic Games Dakar 2026. ARDN is on the ground bringing the stories, the athletes, and the electric atmosphere of Senegal to diaspora communities around the world.

Our coverage celebrates African excellence in sport while connecting the Games to education, opportunity, and pride of heritage — a once-in-a-generation moment for the continent and its diaspora.

United Nations partnerships

Advocacy at the highest level

ARDN works in formal partnership with UNESCO, UNFPA, and UNDP — convening high-level panels at the United Nations, advancing the International Decade for People of African Development, and carrying the voices of the diaspora into global policy conversations on human rights, migration, and development.

The empowerment movement

Beyond individual campaigns, ARDN champions a long-term movement: the empowerment of people of African descent worldwide. Through global sporting events, arts festivals, educational exchanges, and cultural activations, we work to rewrite narratives, and build bridges between Africa and its diaspora in support of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
