About ARDN
A bridge between Africa and the Diaspora
The African Renaissance and Diaspora Network — ARDN — is a United States-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization mobilizing people of African descent around the world.
Our mission
ARDN operates as an international charitable organization dedicated to supporting the United Nations' efforts on behalf of Africa and the African diaspora. We mobilize people across Africa and the Diaspora to create a bridge — connecting cultures, championing UN Sustainable Development goals, and opening pathways of opportunity.
Our name reflects our conviction: that the renaissance of Africa and its diaspora is a shared project, carried forward through sports, art, and culture. From the Red Card campaign against violence toward women and girls to our coverage of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games and Sports around the world, we turn global attention into global action.
Unity
One people, one continent, one diaspora — connected across every ocean and border.
Opportunity
Opening doors in sports, education, and enterprise for youth across Africa and the Diaspora
Empowerment
Championing the UN SDG's for people of African descent worldwide.

Working alongside the United Nations
ARDN works in formal partnership with United Nations agencies — including UNESCO, UNFPA, and UNDP — advancing the International Decade for People of African Development and the global redignification movement from the halls of the UN to communities worldwide.
A network of renaissance leaders
ARDN is led by a global team of diplomats, athletes, artists, and advocates united by a single belief: the future of Africa and its diaspora is written together.
